Love to give goes to Hillabaloo! We will be selling Love to give cards on a stall at the local Hillabaloo at Telegraph Hill Park on 18th July from 10am - 3pm. If you live locally this is your chance to come along and see our fantastic cards and chose your favourites! Plus you'll get to meet the people behind Love to give too.
We are busy sorting new designs for cards and postcards at the moment and will have these ready on the website for purchase soon. Look out for them!
Thanks to all the people who voted for the best Chris Clack picture. The best pictures were voted as Black rose, red rose and blue garden. These will be featured on our new cards shortly.
Love to give is still busy approaching local businesses to find platforms to sell our cards. We have received a very positive response so far. If you have a space or venue where you think you could sell some our our cards then please get in touch. The more places we can use to spread the word, the more giving we can all do.

My all time favourite band donates CD
I am very excited again today! I seem to spend lots of time in this state of mind, which is a pretty good place to be really. I received the most amazing news today. My all time favourite, admired, revered, adored, worshipped (get the idea? I REALLY love this band) band contacted me today to say they have a number of CD of their latest album which they wondered whether I would like to use for Love to give to raise funds. Hmmmmm it took me a long time to respond to that message! Never has the reply button been hit so quickly and the words YES PLEASE typed so rapidly!
So very soon you will be able to purchase one of these amazing CD's only from Love to give......
No I guess you're all wondering what band could this be. Maybe the Artic Monkeys, Anthony and the Johnsons or even an all time great like Blur. But you are wrong. It is a band even better than these. This band is made up of the most talented musicians I know, writes songs which have meaning and depth and are closely tied with their heritage and amazing culture. This band is experimental yet still retains it's traditional manx roots to influence and inspire their songs.
You may not have heard of this band, but once you hear them you won't forget them. Based on the Isle of Man they play at numerous celtic and folk festivals throughout Europe. They don't promote themselves much, but let their music speak for itself.
A big big big thank you to the band Moot.
Visit www.lovetogive.org.uk to hear some of their music and order their CD. Remember 50% of sale price goes to the charity Soulworks and the remainder we can use to support people from marginalised groups get their own work and products produced.

New artist donates artwork

Fantastic news today. Chris Clack, an artist based in Dulwich, has donated the most amazing and stunning art to Love to give which we can use on products. I am so thrilled and pleased that people are getting behind this idea and supporting us. You can view his art on the Love to give website http://www.lovetogive.org.uk/ and visit his own websites to see more of his other art too www.modernreligiousart.com and www.dulwichprintsandprinting.co.uk
We've had a view technical errors with online payment which has been incredibly frustrating. Thank you to those who have ordered cards who have kindly agreed to send a cheque instead. I hope I can get this error sorted out soon! You can still order cards though. I will contact you with an address for sending cheques etc.
So far we have sold 35 cards which is a good start. This equates to £22 for love to give to use to get Chris Clack's work produced as products to be sold and £22 for Soulworks. Please keep on buying, as you can see it really does make a big difference.

Love to give goes down under
I have become almost obsessed with this venture and the concept of Love to give. I believe in it so strongly that I am prepared to overcome my normal politeness and reticience! Apologies to anyone I have offended in my badgering them to visit the site and buy a card! Apologies also to all 'my friends' on facebook for mentioning love to give on every comment I make. By the way, have you brought a card yet???
Today I was in the Broca cafe in Brockley and got into conversation with a lovely ladywho is on extended holiday from Australia (actually it was my dog Millish who started the interaction by trying to steal her sandwich!). Normally I wouldn't be so blatant in selling something, but I am beginning to realise that Love to give is different. In my defence she was writing some postcards so obviously likes to write to friends....why not send a card as well!! Anyway I am pleased to announce that she is keen on the idea too and has promised to spread the work in Australia!
UK yesterday, Australia today...watch out world Love to give has arrived!

The first few days
Hi to those of you who have found your way to the Love to give site and are interested enough to find out more about this exciting new project. I believe in this project soooooo much and so hope that others will see the potential and get on board too.
The site has now been live for 2 days! Happy 2 day anniversary to Love to give! The cards have arrived which was a very exciting moment and I am pleased to say they look pretty cool! I'm just waiting on the labels and we will be ready to deal with the orders that we are anticipating will come rolling in......
So many ideas for this venture I have to keep teling myself to slow down. I wrote the draft letter that will be going out to local organisations that work with marginalised groups asking for Christmas card designs. Seems way to early, especially in this heat, but everything needs to be ordered by beginning of October.
I have decided that card design enteries will be shortlisted to 10 of the best designs and these put up on the webpage so everyone can vote for the 5 that will eventually go off to be published.
I have two more local artists on board who are selecting a piece of their work to donate to love to give probably as I write! Thank you so much to them.
